Trend - "Trend" is the time span when the product is at the highest level. When the trend is accepted by the crowd it becomes “Fashion”, but if it is not accepted by the crowd then it remains as a “Style”.
Colour of the Year 2021 - AI Aqua
According to WGSN (formerly Worth Global Style Network), AI Aqua (098 - 59 - 30) is the colour of the year 2021. This colour is an electric shade of blue and is tech-inspired.
Colour Description - AI Aqua is a positive hue, which is sporty and trend-forward. This colour is true versatile, it can settle the blurred space between active and fashion. It will be more immersive when used in tech products / applications. It will also have major commercial appeal as fashion and lifestyle trends are increasing rapidly. This colour stands-out when styled with pops of navy and electric cobalt colour.

• Extended capes
Extended capes are a type of sleeves which cover the whole arm. This is a classic look which has been innovated over a period of time. These sleeves can be used as complement part for coats as well.
• Round shapes garments
As the name goes, these garments are round in shape. Generally, the hem of these garments is round (whether the garment is of upper torso or lower torso). Round shapes garments were the trend of 80’s, but the fashion has evolved over time. The round shapes garments will be trending in 2021, especially the round shapes gowns.
• Prints and patterns
The prints and patterns are used as a design on the garments. The patterns or prints are printed on the face side of the fabric and in stitched into garment. These patterns will be in trend, almost from polka dots to floral prints. The classic trend of 90’s will be recreated again with new patterns and prints using new technology.
• Minimalistic lines
Minimalistic lines is a type design used as a decorative aspect on a garment. This type of design is inspired by furniture and interior designs. It is formed with geometric shapes and combination of not more than two basic colours. This design will be trending in 2021, as it is a new and innovative idea it will be accepted by many fashion followers.
• Oversized tule gowns
Oversize tule gowns are inspired from ballet and ballroom clothing. These gowns are created by extending the length and size of the fabric. This type of gowns can also be used as wedding dresses.
• Accent bows styled with oversized tule gowns
Bows are the choice of decorative aspect since many years. The bows kept evolving with change in fashion. Bows were generally paired up with formals. Accent bows are recreated and styled differently with gowns.
• Curved shaped abstract design
Curved shaped abstract design is used as a decorative aspect on a garment. This type of design is created by combination of geometric shapes, curvy lines, patches, etc.
• Tactile texture
Tactile texture is the feel of the surface of the garment such as smooth, rough, silky, hard, sticky, soft, etc. The tactile texture is inspired by sculptures and architectural designs as well as the natural sources like trees, animals, plants, etc.
