Operation bulletin (O.B.) is a procedure list to be followed while constructing a garment. Operation bulletin may changes accordingly to the type of product as construction details varies. It is made by the industrial engineer (I.E.) and it makes the arrangement of machines according to it. Operation bulletin defines the quality of the product being manufactured. O.B. indicates the number of operators, machine and time required to build product. Operation bulletin should be done in a such way that work flow will be smooth. 

Operation bulletin is made by breaking down of the process. It should break down until the operation becomes easy and efficient. It must be made by making section within a production line e.g. for shirt collar, front, pocket, cuff, sleeve and assembly can be made as section, also in jacket sewing front, lining sleeve, collar and assembly can be the sections, it makes smooth work flow.

Operation bulletin includes 

1. The name of operation to be done one by one.

2. Time required to do each operation which is nothing but the SAM

3. Machine type which is going to be use to do respective operation

4. Number of operator for each operation and the name of operators performing the operation (subjective).
